Latrobe City Council has developed this draft Road Management Plan 2025-29 (RMP) in response to the Road Management Act 2004 (RMA).
This draft Plan sets out the responsibilities of Council and the responsibilities of other stakeholders including road users.
The primary objective of this Plan is to balance community expectations for service and risk management with the ability of Council to fund the operational and capital costs associated with this Plan. The road, car park, bridge and pathway assets should provide an appropriate level of service that is fit for purpose, accessible, responsive and sustainable to the community in accordance with the Council Plan, Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy.
Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated based on meeting the objectives and legislative criteria set out for the review of the Road Management Plan 2025-29 (RMP).
