We're seeking community feedback that will help to shape our Nature Plan and we want to hear from you.
The Nature Plan will guide the protection and enhancement of biodiversity across the municipality over the next 10 years.
The draft Nature Plan was developed following initial community consultation undertaken in November 2025, which received approximately 150 submissions to help inform the document.
Latrobe City's bushland reserves and waterways provide habitats for native plants and animals and opportunities for the community to connect with nature. Council has a role in influencing biodiversity outcomes through strategic planning, local laws, infrastructure delivery, open space management and environmental programs.
Please review the draft Nature Plan and provide and answer the survey questions below. Submissions close 5pm on Monday 31 August 2026.
