About the project
The Moe Revitalisation Project Stage 2 (MRP2) project will see the re-imagining of the existing car park and old skate park in George Street in Moe, turning it into a vibrant shared youth precinct and community open space. The facility will include a modern skate park inclusive of large open doughnut bowl, playground for younger children, barbeque and picnic amenities, green lawn space for leisure, events and markets.
The design considers the Moe Rail Precinct Revitalisation Project master plan and the considerable input provided by the community of Moe, especially in the design of the Youth Precinct. The detailed design and construction of the Stage 2 project is being guided by a Project Reference Group consisting of Moe community members, community youth representatives, and West Ward Councillors.
Taylor Cullity Lethlean (TCL), landscape architects, have been engaged to finalise the detailed design and constructions drawings for the project. TCL undertook the original concept design for the project in 2012.
Multipro Civil have been appointed to complete the construction, and have worked on similar large-scale projects in Gippsland and metropolitan Melbourne.
