As part of the Traralgon North Development Plan, the intersection at Traralgon-Maffra Road and Marshalls Road is required to be upgraded to a signalised intersection which will provide safer turning movements for traffic in all directions.

The construction of the signalised intersection will require the widening of existing road pavements, providing turning lanes, drainage infrastructure, traffic signals, street lighting and relocation of existing services.

Marshalls Road will also be widened to match the previous works completed further west, making it a consistent cross section between Traralgon-Maffra Road and Park Lane.

There will be disruptions to traffic flow as part of these works from January to October 2024 and we appreciate the community's patience while we complete these important road safety upgrade works.
